Chiaki worked for eight years at People Tree, a pioneering ethical fashion company in Japan and the UK, before studying in Paris for a year. In Paris, she did an internship at Dior Homme and presented a capsule collection at Paris Fashion Week, which inspired her a lot, before returning to Japan.
She has become more interested in sustainability in recent years, not only actively using sustainable and recycled materials, but also in the latest technologies such as bio-materials and fabric printers.
