Chiaki started making costumes in earnest around 2019, when she created costumes for contemporary dance. She then gained a lot of experience in Japan under Kyoko Domoto, a costume designer famous for her work on costumes for the Gekidan Shinkansen.
In addition to fabrics, she uses a variety of special materials, including FRP materials, and makes use of machines such as laser cutters and 3D printers to create unique costumes.
